The wreck of the ship “Mytilini”

It was an old German motorship built in 1941, 40 meters long. It was operating routes from Thessaloniki to Mytilene carrying various consumer products such as oil, cereals and wine. The ship sank in 1961, during a strong storm, when it collided with a reef and today it is in a depth of 20 metres. Something very interesting is that the ship was loaded with bottles of wine which remain intact to this day.
